President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani condemned a deadly suicide attack in Pakistan which left at least 60 people dead and over 110 others injured.
President Ghani said he strongly condemns the attack and called it an abhorrent act by terrorist groups.
He called for a joint, coordinated and serious act against the terrorism which is seriously threatening the region.
According to the Pakistani security officials, a number of security personnel, women and children were among those killed or injured.
The officials said the suicide bomber targeted a checkpoint belonging to paramilitary soldiers near the Wagah border.
The incident took place as hundreds gathered in a flag hoisting ceremony and the crowd began leaving the parade ground.
