Police in the main city of northern Kundoz province have arrested a man who was trying to blow up a police vehicle.
Police say he was arrested while trying to attach a magnetic bomb to their vehicle.
The arrested person has said in his initial investigation that he was going to blow up police vehicle for money.
He is now under further investigation.
Recently security forces are more targeted in cities through magnetic bombs, the responsibility of which is usually claimed by the Taliban.
