Afghanistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Hanif Atmar met with the ambassadors and representatives of regional and international countries, UN, NATO, and EU on Tuesday, August 03.
He said press releases do not suffice but the International community should give the Taliban a serious response in upcoming Doha meetings.
Afghan foreign minister asked them to back the new six-month security plan that the Afghan government believes to change the security situation around the countries.
Hanif Atmar has reminded the international community since international militants are busy fighting along with the Taliban, the danger of ongoing war is not limited to Afghanistan only.

The twin gatherings hosted by the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs were attended by over thirty ambassadors and representatives.
A press release of MoF reads that the security plan has been sketched in coordination with the societal and political class of the country and will be implanted to strengthen the ANDSF’s positions in major cities.
Hanif Atmar in his meeting with the ambassadors and representatives outlined four major points necessitating international support. The points include repelling the Taliban’s attacks on major cities, preventing humanitarian disasters and violations of human rights, expediting the peace process, and finally implementation of the security plan.
The Afghan Foreign Minister asked Kabul-based embassies to go beyond their statements of condemning the Taliban’s atrocities and back the Afghan government’s security plan.
