Hagel Announces Additional US Troops For AfghanistanPresident Mohammad Ashraf Ghani left for Germany on Friday morning to attend the 51st round of Munich Conference.

The Presidential Palace said President Ghani is accompanied by a delegation high level government officials during his 3-day-visit to Germany.

A statement by the Palace said President Ghani will deliver a speech during the conference and willl share the perspective of Afghanistan related to security issues.

President Ghani is accompanied by national security adviser Mohammad Hanif Atmar and Foreign Minister Salahuddin Rabbani.

The Munich Security Conference will kick off today in Munich city of Germany today in the wake of escalating violence in Ukraine and in the Middle East.

Europe will be the key focus in Munich Security Conference this year as the use of military force to re-draw Ukraine’s borders is being seen as the greatest threat to the global order.

The conference will be attendded by some 400 politicians and experts who will spend three days trying to find ways out of the current crises.
