A suspected terrorist who planning a terrorist attack was arrested by Afghan security forces in capital Kabul, security officials announced Monday.
Deputy interior minister Gen. Ayoub Salangi said the suspected terrorist was arrested from Pul-e-Charkhi area of Kabul city.
Salangi further added Afghan security forces discovered and confiscated one rocket launcher along with a PK machine gun and two AK-47 rifles.
This comes as Afghan security forces foiled a suicide attack plot in capital Kabul on Saturday by confiscating three suicide bombing vest from Qala Shada area in the 6th district of Kabul city.

The first attack was carried out on an election commission office in Dar-ul-Aman road which left at least two police men dead and two others injured.
A group of five militants attacked the election commission headquarter in Pul-e-Charkhi area of Kabul city on Saturday which lasted for several hours; however no casualties were incurred to election commission employees.
The militants also targeted a compound of a US based non-governmental organization in western part of Kabul city on Friday, which left at least two civilians dead.
