Ministry of Public Health reported Monday, that out of 1,849 samples, 79 cases have turned positive in the last 24 hours.
At least 228,105 people have so far been tested in the governmental labs, and there still are 5,384 known active cases in the country.
According to the ministry, within 24 hours, 543 individuals have Recovered from COVID-19, and three individuals are reported dead.
The new cases recorded in Kabul are 10, Herat 10, Kandahar Two, Nangarhar 15, Paktya One, Baghlan Three, Nimroz Two, Badakshan Three, Kunar 20, Panjsher One, Khost One, Zabul One, and Nooristan Five.
The total number of cases in Afghanistan is 54,141, Total deaths are 2,346 and the total recoveries are recorded 46,411.
COVID-19 global toll has increased to 95,101,360 and the dead are reported to more than 2,032,180 according to Johns Hopkins’ global dashboard.
