According to the weather forecast made by the Afghanistan Civil Aviation Authority (ACCA) Meteorological Department, the likelihood of heavy snowfall in most parts of the country threatens people of the possibility of flashy floods.

Through the forecast of the CCA, the continuous snowfall and rain in the coming days include most parts of the country, such as northern, central, western, and parts of the eastern provinces.

The country is experiencing an unprecedented amount of snowfall this year. On the one hand, it causes problems for transportation, the supply of raw materials, and consumer goods from one province to another. On the other hand, it will improve agricultural productivity and crops in the next year.

According to ACCA, the amount of rain in different places will reach 45 milliliters and snow up to 60 centimeters. The department also notifies the possibility of severe floods in some southern and south-western provinces of Afghanistan.

The ongoing snowfall and rainy weather suggest that the central government needs to take precautionary steps and stay vigilant for emergency cases and to provide help to the affected families across the country.
