Thursday, May 12 – At least Five Taliban insurgents have been killed and several others have been detained in Poshkoh district of Farah province.
According to Sayed Mohammad Roshandel chief of Farah, at least five Taliban insurgents were killed and eight others were injured during operation Omid “Hope” which is being conducted for the past three days by joint forces of national police, national security and national army in Poshtkoh district of Farah province.
According to sources, the joint forces have seized 2 heavy and light arms, two corolla type cars, 3 motorcycles, 17 landmines, two sacks of explosive materials and a set of communication.
