The Afghanistan national cricket team defeated West Indies by 7 wicket and 56 balls remaining during the final match of the ICC World Cup Qualifiers.

Played in Harare of Zimbabwe, the West Indies national cricket team won the toss and elected to bat first.

Despite an aggressive start by the opening batsmen, West Indies could not set a major target during the final match and made 204 runs by losing all their wickets during the 46.5 overs of the game.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman took 4 wickets on the bowling side while Dawlat Zadran, Sharafuddin Ashraf, and Rashid Khan took one wicket each.

The Afghan bastmen managed to chase the given target during the 40.4 overs of the game by losing three wickets only with Mohammad Shahzad performing well during the final match as he scored 84 runs from 93 balls.

Gulbaddin Naib scored 41 runs, Rahmat Shah 51 runs, while Samiullah Shenwari remained not out after scoring 20 runs with Mohammad Nabi who scored 27 runs.
