Afghanistan won its first game of the T20 World Cup in Sharja and beat Scotland by 130 runs.

Afghanistan won the toss and opted to bat first putting 190 scores on the board that was quite hard for the rival to chase down and only manage to score 60 to be beaten by its lowest total ever.

It was a great batting show by the Afghan attacking batters- Hazratullah Zazai and Muhammad Shehzad- who played well and gave their team a good start.

The young and sensational bowler, Mujeeburahman was the man who played a crucial role in restricting the Scotland batters and took five wickets conceding only 20 runs.

Mujeeb was later called player of the match and collected his first-ever man of the match award of a World Cup.

Afghanistan will be playing its second Super 12 game against Pakistan on Friday, October 29.
