Afghan Mixed Martial Art (MMA) fighter, Baz Mohammad Mubarez was defeated by his American opponent Dylan Fussell at Full Metal Dojo 3 on Saturday night.
Mubariz could not continue to fight after he received an eye injury from a punch despite he fought well in the first and second round of the match.
A pre-match poll had also predicted Mubariz as the winner of the contest. However, Mubariz said the match referees decided to end the match in favor of Fussell due to his severe injuries.
He was asked to give up the fight by referees of the match due to severity of the injury.
Mobarez’s fight with Fussell was the main event of the Full Metal Dojo 3, and his was his first fight after defeating his Swedish opponent late in the month of August.
Mobarez started his pro career in India, where he went through a three-round battle with Kazakhstan prospect Kuat Khamitov.
