Pakistan and Turkey have decided to stand by Saudi Arabia over the crisis in Yemen.
Both Pakistan and Turkey have shown serious concern over the crisis in Yemen. Premiers of both countries have said that they are in contact with Saudi Arabia and are ready to play their role for the peace and stability of the region.
“We must make all possible efforts to resolve this issue,” Mohammad Nawaz Sharif told reporters on Friday.
Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan after meeting with his Turkish counterpart told reporters that they have also decided to stand by Riyadh in the time of need for its security and territorial integrity.
“We have agreed to extend all possible support for the defence of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Mohammad Nawaz Sharif told reporters.
The decision of Pakistan and Turkey standing by Saudi Arabia over the crisis in Yemen was taken during the one day visit of Pakistan’s Premier Mohammad Nawaz Sharif to Turkey on Friday.
After receiving a request for support from Yemen’s government, Saudi Arabia started bombing Huthis positions in Yemen about ten days before.
