Woman Commits Suicide in Ghor After a Verbal Argument with Her Sisters

A woman has shot herself dead after a verbal argument with her sisters, according to the local Taliban officials in Ghor province.

According to the spokesperson for the police chief office in Ghor province, the incident occurred on Friday, the 17th of June, in the province’s Saghar district.

Officials added that the woman, named Ferishta, had committed suicide after a verbal argument with her sisters.

During the verbal argument with her sisters, the woman allegedly said that she would kill herself.

Taliban security officials in Ghor, on the other hand, claim that investigations are underway to further clarify the situation.

Recently, the number of family disputes which lead to the loss of lives has soared in different regions of the country.

The cause of such disputes is yet to be determined by the respective departments through a thorough investigation.
