The police forces arrested three people including a woman in connection with car theft in Kabul city, the Kabul Police Headquarters said.

According to a statement released by Kabul Police, the police forces arrested the three suspects during a raid which they conducted in 7th district of the city on Monday evening.

The statement further added that the suspects had stolen a vehicle, 75,000 Afghanis in cash and cell phones of a resident of Kabul city.

The detained individuals have confessed that they had stolen the vehicle and other valuables of a resident of the city, the statement said, adding that the suspects are in custody and being further questioned by police.

This comes as criminal incidents involving robberies are on the rise in the key provinces and cities of the country including capital Kabul.
