Lahore-based woman accuses Pakistan cricket captain, Babar Azam of sexual and physical assault, who is said to have threatened her for life.

At a press conference on Saturday, the unknown woman said the two used to live together and went to the same school.

As she and Azan were school friends, he proposed to her, she claimed.

The woman accused him of sexually abusing her and has threatened to kill her.

“He promised to marry me, he got me pregnant, he beat me up, he threatened me and he used me,” she claimed.

He was from a poor family before becoming famous, so “I took care of his financial expenses she said.

None of the officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board and  Azam himself responded to the alleged abuse the unidentified female talked about.

The Pakistan cricket team is currently under a 14-day quarantine in New Zealand ahead of upcoming series as seven members of the team tested positive for coronavirus.

The infected players were not revealed.

The country is expected to play three T20 matches and two test matches against New Zealand in the coming month.
