Cricket National TeamAfghan National Cricket Team players are saying they will return with proud to Afghanistan from world cup in Australia.

Mohammad Nabi Esakhil, captain of the Afghan National Cricket Team in a meeting with President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in presidential palace in Kabul told that with all efforts they will try to bring proud to Afghanistan.

Mohammad Nabi Esakhil said that the players of Afghan National Cricket Team are training for world cup from the past few months and are completely read to play in the world cup.

President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani praised the achievement accomplished by Afghan National Cricket Team.

“You have given a positive image of Afghans and Afghanistan to the world in a very short period of time. I am with you and I won’t let anyone make disturbance for you on your way” President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani promised National Cricket players in a good bye gathering with them in presidential palace on Friday.

President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has also instructed the Ambassador of Afghanistan in Australia to provide all possible facilities for the players of the National Cricket Team while on their stay in Australia.

National Cricket Team players were glad by meeting leaders of the country before leaving to play for the country.

They were saying that was the 1st time they met the leaders before their departure to attend events, adding that this has given a moral to the players.

Players of the National Cricket Team left to Australia on Friday and their 1st play is scheduled to be on 18 February 2015.
