On Friday, Mr Abedin said that Afghanistan is an excellent team, so we will not take the Afghanistan Cricket team lightly.

Minhajul Abedin, Chief Selector for the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), stated, “Instead of gambling, we will try to play the best team against Afghanistan.

On Friday, May 19, Mr Abedin told the reporters, “Afghanistan is a very good team. So, we do not apply any experiment here as we have a bad experience losing the last test match against them. We will not take the Afghanistan cricket team lightly.”

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced that between June 14 and July 16, Bangladesh will host Afghanistan for one Test, three ODIs, and two T20Is.

Afghanistan will arrive in Bangladesh on June 10 as planned. Afghanistan will play the lone Test on June 14 at the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium in Mirpur following three days of rehearsal.

He also said, “Bangladesh played the last test match well against Ireland in Mirpur. We played well against India too. I think we can give a good fight back in Mirpur. I hope we will play well.”
