Taliban on Saturday announced upon May 1st deadline for foreign troops withdrawal, that this violation principle has opened the way for the Taliban to take every counteraction it deems appropriate against United States including NATO forces.

Zabiullah Mujahid, Taliban spokesman on tweeted on Saturday that the militants are awaiting Islamic Emirate decisions based on the sovereignty, values, and higher interests of the country.

He added then Taliban will take actions to launch attacks on the US and NATO forces.

Mujahid clarified that the May 1st deadline has passed and that this has allowed the Taliban to take every attack option possible against the foreign forces.

This comes as Reuters reported that the Taliban kept protecting US bases despite escalating its offensives against the Afghan people and the ANDSF.

But Mohammad Naeem Wardak spokesman of the Taliban political office in Qatar denied the allegation and called it baseless.

Previously, US officials have warned the Taliban against attacking departing U.S forces and that such actions will be dealt with all possible force.

US and international troops will respond to any Taliban action during the withdrawal process.
