The Afghan forces killed or wounded 19 Taliban militants including 6 Uzbek militants in northern Faryab province.
The 209th Shaheen Corps in a statement said the security forces clashed with Taliban militants in Nazirabad area of Nadirbad district on Monday night.
The statement further added that the security forces killed 11 militants and wounded 7 others during the clash.
Furthermore, the 209th Shaheen Corps said the security forces also wounded 6 Uzbek militants during the clash.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the clash so far.
