These people were reportedly killed in a bakery on Wednesday, 13th July, at around 10:00 PM, according to domestic media sources.

According to sources in Pol-e-Alam, Logar province’s capital, the victims were members of a family that managed a bakery altogether.

The unknown men, according to the sources have fatally shot three brothers and their cousin, who jointly ran a bakery.

The Taliban officials have yet to respond to the accident.

Last week, a man was killed and three persons, including two women and a man, were injured in a family violence incident in the southern Afghan province of Kandahar.

The officials told that the man allegedly attacked his ex-wife, ended up killing a man and wounding three other people.

In recent months, there has been an upsurge in recorded incidences of family violence, personal animosity, kidnapping, murder, and honor killing, despite the Taliban’s assertion and assurances that the country is safe.
