The body of a young man, 23, who was shot dead by unknown gunmen in the province of Badghis in northwest Afghanistan was discovered on Tuesday, according to Taliban security officials.

The victim’s murdered body was discovered on Tuesday in Qala-e-Naw, the provincial capital of Badghis, in the first police district, according to the Taliban’s police office in Badghis.

The victim has been named as Mohibullah, a resident of the province of Badghis, who was shot and killed, according to Taliban security officials in the Badghis police office.

According to the Taliban security officials in Badghis, efforts are being made to apprehend those responsible for this murder even though no one has yet been detained in connection with it.

Domestic violence, honor killings, personal animosity, family blood feuds, and suicide reports have all dramatically increased recently in Afghanistan under the Taliban’s control.

Despite the Taliban’s assurances that they will provide security, mysterious murders, and other crimes have continued and even grown worsened recently in some provinces.
