Antonio Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, has announced that the Israeli army has been added to the organization’s “Blacklist.”

On Friday, June 7, he stated that “Israel is included in the list of countries and organizations that harm children in conflict zones,” alongside terrorist organizations like ISIS, Al-Qaeda, and Boko Haram.

In response, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, criticized the UN’s action, describing the Israeli army as the “most moral” army in the world.

Netanyahu added that the UN has placed itself on the blacklist with this action.

Meanwhile, the United Nations and numerous human rights organizations and countries have accused Israel of human rights violations in Gaza and called for an end to the country’s attacks on Palestine.

The Palestinian government has welcomed the UN’s move and added that “the council must now decide to stop the genocide crimes against our people in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem.”

Additionally, the International Court of Justice, at the request of South Africa, has called for the arrest of the leaders of Israel and Hamas on charges of “committing war crimes.”

According to reports, Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant have been accused of “killing, using starvation as a weapon of war, preventing access to humanitarian aid, and deliberately targeting civilians in conflicts.”

Since the beginning of Israeli attacks against Hamas, thousands of children have been killed, and thousands more are in dire conditions without access to humanitarian aid.

According to statistics, Israeli attacks on Gaza have resulted in the deaths of 7,500 Palestinian children to date.
