The U.S. forces conducted airstrikes in Maidan Wardak province of Afghanistan killing at least 15 Taliban militants.
The 203rd Thunder Corps in a statement said the U.S. forces conducted the airstrikes in Nerkh district of Wardak province.
Furthermore, the 203rd Thunder Corps said the airstrikes killed 15 Taliban militants including Qari Syed Agha, one of the commanders of Haqqani terrorist network.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the airstrikes so far.
