The U.S. forces conducted airstrikes in south-eastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan killing at least 20 Taliban militants.

The 203rd Thunder Corps in a statement said the U.S. forces conducted the airstrikes in Syed Wali and Marwarda areas of Qarabagh district on Friday.

The statement further added that the airstrikes killed 20 Taliban militants including 5 Pakistani nationals.

Furthermore, the 203rd Thunder Corps said the airstrikes also destroyed three vehicles.

Meanwhile, the 203rd Thunder Corps said the Afghan forces killed 4 Taliban militants and wounded 5 others during an opertion Dwaza Khwa district of Paktia province.

The 203rd Corps also added that the security forces confiscated a rocket launcher, an Ak-47 rifle and three motorcycles during the operation.

On the other, the security forces clashed with the militants in Kariz Ata and Qala-e-Qazi areas of Ghazni, killing 4 militants and wounding 2 others.
