A U.S. airstrike targeted a group of militants affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan.
The 201st Silab Corps of the Afghan Military in a statement said the airstrike was carried out in Khogyani district on Tuesday.
The statement further added that the airstrike targeted the militants in Wazir Tangi area at around 11:00 am local time.
Furthermore, the 201st Silab Corps said the airstrike killed 3 militants of the terror group.
