Turkey has recently reported the crash of a military helicopter, resulting in the loss of two pilots and leaving another person injured.
Ali Yerlikaya, Turkey’s Interior Minister, shared the news on Sunday, February 4th, using a post on social media platform X.
The incident occurred when a military helicopter in Turkey crashed unexpectedly in the southern region, with two military officers losing their lives and one person sustaining injuries.
Yerlikaya added that the helicopter crash coincided with another helicopter taking off from Hatay Airport, heading towards Gaziantep Airport, and losing contact shortly after.
Detailed information about this aviation accident has not yet been provided.
Meanwhile, in the United States on Friday night, a small plane crashed into a mobile home in Florida, resulting in the loss of the pilot and two other individuals present at the crash site.
According to the American Aviation Authority, one of the plane’s engines had failed during the flight.
