WASHINGTON, USA – United Sates President Donald Trump said Thursday he and his wife Melania Trump has tested positive for novel coronavirus and are in quarantine.

In a Tweet, Trump said he and Melania would “get through this together”.

“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19,” he said. “We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”

Trump’s announcement came after Hope Hicks, one of his closest advisers, tested positive for the disease, who travels regularly with the president on Air Force One and, along with other senior aides, accompanied him to Cleveland for the first presidential debate with Democrat Joe Biden on Tuesday, according to sources.
