WASHINGTON, United States – Thousands of President Donald Trump supporters have come together across Washington DC to back his unsubstantiated claims of voter fraud in the US election, denying President-elect Joe Biden of the victory.

Flag-carrying demonstrators were joined by members of far-right groups including the Proud Boys, some wearing helmets and bullet-proof vests, as BBC reported.

On Friday, November 7, Democrat Joe Biden became the 46th president of the United States, defeating Donald Trump following a ballot controversy that lead to legal actions. Biden has yet to start office in January 2021.

He solidified his victory with a projected win in the state of Georgia, making him the first Democratic candidate to take the state since 1992, according to report.

However, Trump has refused to concede, gearing up for legal action as each claimed to be ahead in the US presidential election amid ballot controversy. But his efforts have so far been unsuccessful.
