The U.S. President Donald Trump has once again criticized Pakistan for the lack of cooperation in the fight against terrorism despite receiving billions of U.S. Dollars in aid.

“Of course we should have captured Osama Bin Laden long before we did. I pointed him out in my book just BEFORE the attack on the World Trade Center. President Clinton famously missed his shot. We paid Pakistan Billions of Dollars & they never told us he was living there,” Donald Trump said in a Twitter post on Monday night.

Trump further added “We no longer pay Pakistan the $Billions because they would take our money and do nothing for us, Bin Laden being a prime example, Afghanistan being another. They were just one of many countries that take from the United States without giving anything in return. That’s ENDING!”

This comes as the Afghan and U.S. officials have long been criticizing Pakistan for the lack of action against the militant and terrorist groups using its soil.

The officials are saying that the Taliban, Haqqani Network, and other groups still have safe havens and freedom of action in Pakistan from where they plan and coordinate attacks in Afghanistan.
