According to the Independent, the outgoing U.S. President Donald Trump hinted at accepting his defeat in the recent elections, as he has allowed GSA head, Emily Murphy, to continue working with Biden’s team.
Trump has directed Murphy and his administration to “follow the protocols”, which will initiate federal funds for utilization by Biden’s transition team and allows him to receive daily intelligence briefings.
The Biden-Harris Transition Executive Director, Yohannes Abraham, announced the formal start of the transition process between the Trump and Biden Administration.
Federal reserve head, Janet Yellen, will be nominated as the Secretary of The Treasury, the first Female secretary to serve Biden at the position.
Biden seems to allocate as many women into senior positions, like Avril Haines, the first female to direct American intelligence, Linda Thomas Greenfield as the UN Ambassador, and potentially nominate other feminine roles in several other positions.
He named Alejandro Mayorkas to become the first immigrant and first Latino to lead the Department of Homeland Security, Like Kamala Harris Biden’s appointments in his administration seem to be dissimilar from the previous rulers.
So far, he chose John Kerry as the Special presidential envoy on climate and nominated Jake Sulivian as his National Security Advisor.
