According to local security officials, the truck was seized from Orgun district late on Tuesday.
District police chief Nabi Jan Yah Khel said two drivers of the truck were also arrested by Afghans security forces.
In the meantime, the drivers of the truck are saying that the Taliban militants forced them to load their vehicle with explosives and transport them to Sar-e-Rawza district.
Paktika province is among the volatile provinces in eastern Afghanistan where anti-government armed militants are actively operating and frequently carry out insurgency activities.
At least 57 people were killed and over 60 others were injured after a suicide bomber targeted a volleyball tournament in Yahya Khel district nearly two weeks ago.
