Traffic accident leaves four killed, three wounded on Kandahar-Herat highway

Spokesperson for the governor of Kandahar province said the incident took place in Turi Posti area of Maiwand District around 11:00 am this morning.
Samim Khpalwak added that a ‘303’ model passenger bus collided with a ‘Flying Coach’ coming from the opposite side leaving three women and a man killed.
According to the governor’s spokesperson, the incident also left three men wounded who have been transported to Mirwais Hospital for treatment.
Unprofessional driving and damaged roads are considered as the main causes behind the road accidents in Afghanistan which claim dozens of lives every year.
