Traffic accident leaves five killed, 25 wounded on Kabul-Kandahar highway

The accident took place in the jurisdiction of Ghazni’s Ab Band District around 06:30 am this morning.
Traffic Officer of Ghazni province while confirming the incident said that the truck gutted after colliding with ‘303’ passenger bus causing burn injuries to a number of passengers.
Mohammadullah Ahmadi added that three dead bodies and 26 people in wounded condition have been shifted to Hospital.
He expressed concern over the health condition of some of the wounded people.
Meanwhile, a member of the provincial council of Ghazni said that five people have been killed and 25 others wounded in the accident.
Latifa Akbari added those wounded include children, men and women.
Kabul-Kandahar highway is one of the dangerous routes in the country that is usually the site of traffic accidents.
