Traffic accident kills 3 and injures 3 in Afghanistan’s Baghlan

According to provincial officials, at least three people died, and three others were injured in an accident in Afghanistan’s Baghlan province, Khinjan district.

According to the Baghlan provincial security official, the incident occurred on Tuesday in 19 Garari, Khinjan district of Baghlan province. The incident occurred due to reckless driving, resulting in the loss of three lives and injuring three others.

It has been confirmed that one of the victims of this incident is a woman.

The investigation shows the vehicle overturned while travelling from Baghlan to Kabul province.

Recently, there has been a significant increase in traffic incidents nationwide.

In the latest events, local officials in Laghman, Helmand, and Kapisa provinces have confirmed that six individuals have lost their lives due to traffic accidents in these provinces, and five others are still injured.

In most cases, traffic incidents’ primary causes are road defects, reckless driving, and excessive speeding, old vehicles.
