According to local sources in Ghazni province, two people were killed and four others were injured in a traffic accident in the province.

The accident occurred approximately at 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, the 16th of June, in the Rawza area of Ghazni province, according to sources.

In an accident involving two vehicles including a 404 type vehicle, two people were killed and four others were injured.

The victims of this incident were two car passengers, while the driver of the 404 car managed to flee the scene following the accident.

Traffic accidents resulting in fatalities have surged in various places of Afghanistan in recent months.

The frequency of traffic accidents resulting in passenger deaths has escalated in recent months, and the cause has yet to be determined by the relevant institution or through a thorough investigation. Traffic law violations, poor highways, negligence, and the absence of traffic signs are the major causes of road accidents in Afghanistan, with people dying every day.
