An explosion has taken place in the vicinity of the 11th police district of Kabul city leaving at least three people wounded, the security officials said.
Kabul Police spokesman Basir Mujahid confirmed the incident and said a policeman was among those wounded.
Mujahid further added that the explosion took place at around 7pm local time in the vicinity of the 11th police district of the city.
Without disclosing further information regarding the type of the explosion, Mujahid said a policeman and two civilians were among those wounded.
No individual or group including the Taliban group has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.
This comes as two back to back explosions took place in the 16th police district of the city early on Saturday, leaving two dead and nine others wounded, including six policemen and three civilians.
