National Directorate of Security (NDS) – Afghanistan’s intelligence agency – has arrested a group of three terrorists which was involved in bomb blasts and other terrorist activities in Kandahar province.
A statement issued Sunday by NDS states that had also martyred three soldiers and member of peace council in separate attacks in Kandahar province.
The statement identifies the terrorists as Mahmood S/O Mohammad Shafi, Qudratullah S/O Abdul Rawouf who are originally from Panjwai District of Kandahar province but were currently living in the 9th Police District of Kandahar city.
The 3rd terrorist is identified as Hafiz Abdul Razaq S/O Gul Mohammad who is originally from Daman District but was currently living in the 12th Police District of Kandahar city.
According to the statement the group was being tracked by NDS which finally arrested during operations from the jurisdiction of Kandahar city.
NDS statements usually do not contain information about the exact date of the achievement but their statements come after recent activities.
