The National Directorate of Afghanistan (NDS) – Afghanistan’s intelligence agency has seized a terrorist-weapon depot in Jalalabad, the capital city of eastern Nangarhar province.
A statement issued by NDS on Thursday states that the depot contained 26 different types of heavy and light weapons.
10 Kalashinkovs and two pistols were among the weapons seized from the depot. Two binoculars and three military suits were also recovered from the cache, the NDS statement adds.
In a separate raid the NDS personnel has arrested a man who was having three Afghan passports, three Pakistani passports, three Tazkiras (Afghan identity cards) and two Pakistani IDs.
The man detained has been identified as Mir Ahmad Shah.
NDS statements usually do not contain the exact date of the achievements but they come after recent activities.
