Dozens of militants were killed in latest raids targeting the facilitation networks, staging areas, and compounds of the leadership of group across the country.

Informed military sources said Tuesday that a raid was conducted in Dilah district of Paktika to target Taliban facilitation networks which resulted in killing of 3 Taliban fighters killed while three others were detained.

The sources further added that Afghan Special Forces conducted a raid to disrupt Taliban staging areas in Zurmat district of Paktiya leaving 11 Taliban fighters dead.

The Afghan Special Forces conducted a similar raid in Nad Ali district of Helmand targeting Taliban leadership which left 4 Taliban fighters dead, the sources said.

The military sources also added that the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces operations over the last 48 hours in Loy Kandahar resulted into the killing of 29 Taliban fighters while 36 others were wounded.
