Taliban rejects involvement in coordinated suicide attacks in Kabul

[1]The Taliban group in Afghanistan has rejected the involvement of the group in the coordinated suicide attacks in Kabul that left scores of people dead or wounded.

Taliban group spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid in a statement has said that the group has no links with the bombing and the incident that took place in Kabul today.

This comes as the ISIS-Khurasan issued a statement in Arabic claiming that the attack was carried out on a compound of the Afghan intelligence in the city.

The group went on to claim that the attack has left at least 50 operatives of the Afghan intelligence dead or wounded.

However, the Afghan security officials are saying that 25 people were killed and 45 others were wounded including several civilians and reporters.

The attack was carried out at around 8 am local time after a suicide bomber detonated his explosives in Shash Darak area while another bomber detonated a camera packed with explosives as the reporters and several other people had gathered in the scene of the first blast.
