This comes as Parliament Speaker, Mir Rahman Rahmani on Monday said, that war and violence are not the solutions for any type of crisis.
He said during a Wolesi Jirga (lower house of Parliament) meeting that with coordination of the High Council for National Reconciliation and the government the MPs are to draw up a plan for a proper peace process.
“The international community, regional and neighboring countries, more than ever with a clear consensus, have reached to this conclusion, to help the people and the government of Afghanistan to achieve peace”, Rahmani said.
He added for a lasting and dignified peace, most logical option is to continue and accelerate peace negotiations.
Rahmani explained that Afghanistan’s national sovereignty belongs to the people and it is exercised through people and their representatives.
