Taliban militants suffer heavy casualties in Khost, Wardak clashes: Thunder Corps

The security forces inflicted heavy casualties on Taliban militants during the clashes in Khost and Wardak provinces.

The 203rd Thunder Corps in a statement said the security forces killed 12 Taliban militants and wounded 10 others during the clash in Momandzai district of Khost province.

The statement further added that the security forces also arrested a Taliban militant and destroyed 4 motorcycles.

Furthermore, the 203rd Thunder Corps said the security forces repulsed a Taliban attack on security check posts in Chak district of Wardak province.

The 203rd Thunder Corps also added that the security forces killed 5 Taliban militants and wounded 6 others during the same clash.
