The Afghan forces inflicted heavy casualties on Taliban militants during the clashes in South-eastern Ghazni province.

The 203rd Thunder Corps said in a statement that the security forces killed 12 Taliban militants and wounded 8 others during the clashes in Ghazni.

The statement further added that the security forces clashed with Taliban militants in Qarabagh, Deh Yak and Moqor districts.

Furthermore, the 203rd Thunder Corps said the security forces also confiscated 2 motorcycles and a radio set of the militants.

The 203rd Thunder Corps also added that the security forces defused 5 imrpovised explosive devices in Ghazni province.
