The Taliban militants suffered heavy casualties during a clash with the security forces in Farah province.

The informed military sources said Thursday that the clash broke out after Taliban militants attacked a security check post in Bala Boluk district.

The sources further added that the security forces killed 7 Taliban fighters and wounded 11 others during the clash.

The Taliban militants have not commented regarding the clash so far.
