The Taliban militants have taken four members of People’s Peace Movement to an unknown location for talks.

The head of public relations of People’s Peace Movement Bacha Khan Muladad confirmed that the Taliban militants have taken four members of the movement to an unknown location.

Muladad further added that the Taliban militants have summoned the leader of the movement Iqbal Khyber and spokesman of the movement Bismillah Watandost.

The Taliban militants have also summoned the leader of the movement for Helmand Ghulam Sarwar Ghafari and Haji Farhad Adil.

This comes as a group of 30 members of People’s Peace Movement marched towards Musa Qala district of Helmand province four days ago.

The members of the movement launched the march in a bid to demand peace and halt to ongoing conflict in the country.

In the meantime, Muladad said it has been two days that the members of the movement are in the areas controlled by Taliban in Helmand.
