A clash broke out between Taliban militants and Afghan forces in Logar province which left at least 29 dead or wounded including 21 militants.
The Ministry of Defense (MoD) in a statement said the Taliban militants attacked the security posts in Baraki district of Logar.
The statement further added that the Afghan forces responded to the attack, killing at least 15 Taliban militants and wounding at least 6 others.
Meanwhile, the defense ministry said 4 Afghan soldiers also lost their lives during the clash and 5 others sustained injuries.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the clashes so far.
