The Special Forces killed a Taliban group leader and his fighters during a clash in Anar Dara district of Farah.
The Special Operations Corps in a statement said the Commandos and Air Forces responded to a Taliban attack on Anar Dara district killing 4 Taliban militants.
The statement further added that the Special Forces also killed Sheikh Mansoor, one of the group leaders of Taliban.
Furthermore, the Special Operations Corps said the secuirty forces also wounded 8 Taliban militants during the clash.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the killing of Sheikh Mansoor so far.
