
Officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan claim that they have conducted a raid on a safe haven of ISIS in Charikar city of northern Parwan province killing and arresting a number of the group’s fighters on Friday, October 1.
The ISIS members have not commented on the issue yet.
A spokesperson of the Taliban Bilal Karimi confirmed the raid and said that the fighters were arrested after their friends targeted the Taliban members in the province.
In the attack, four Taliban members were wounded.
In the meantime, sources in Kapisa province say that gunmen targeted a ranger car of the Taliban and killed at least five members of the Taliban but the latter has not commented on the issue yet.
ISIS-K is now believed to be the biggest threat to the Taliban in Afghanistan that can endanger the security of the country and the Taliban government in the meantime.
The Taliban has repeatedly said that the group is not a threat to them and they have the ability to eliminate ISIS-K in Afghanistan.
