According to local authorities in eastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan, Taliban militants on Friday assassinated 5 kidnapped Afghan civilians in this province.
The officials further added the incident took place in Andar district on Friday afternoon.
Engineer Abdul Latif commander of the anti-Taliban uprising forces in Ghazni province said Taliban militants murdered five Afghan civilians who were kidnapped by them on Friday.
Mr. Latif further added Taliban militants on Thursday night entered in Sahib Khan village and set his home on fire and arrest five Afghan civilians for having membership of anti-Taliban uprising forces.
He said the five Afghan civilians hostages did not have any connection with the uprising forces.
Several books including holy Qurans were burnt after Taliban militants torched the house of Engineer Latif.
Taliban militants group yet to comment regarding the report.
