Noordin Azizi acting minister of trade and industry of the interim government of the Taliban in a joint press conference with the trade minister of Kazakhstan in Kabul announced that they have agreed upon a joint commercial chamber and corridor.

The press conference on Saturday, December 25 in Kabul was held after the Kazakhstan trade delegation met with the Afghan delegation.

The acting minister of trade and industry of Afghanistan said that the two countries have wide trade relations and added that the relations will further be expanded.

The two sides have also expressed emphasis on the operation of Kazakhstan commercial banks in Afghanistan.

The Trade minister of Kazakhstan also visited his country’s commercial expo in Kabul.

Kazakhstan is a neighboring country of Afghanistan that has always been interested to invest in the export-reliant country.

The previous Afghan government had good trade relations and agreements with the central Asian country.
